I’m thinking about hosting a leadership retreat in Montepulciano next year.
Surrounded on either side by the Val di Chiana and the Val D’Orcia, the latter a UNESCO World Heritage site, this quaint town sits high above long rolling hills, olive trees, wild rosemary, and vineyards as far as the eye can see. Breathtaking is the only word that describes the beauty.
Montepulciano is also home to La Grotta. Where a brother and sister run a little restaurant that offers some of the most delicious food that I’ve ever eaten. (And I did my fair share of eating while in Italy.)
