Because there isn’t rapid responsiveness to changing circumstances, either internally or externally, and the project gets thrown off track and delayed,

Or the accountability isn’t there and you’re having to follow up to ensure things get done,

Or you don’t have the right people with the right competencies on the team to execute,

Or the team’s cohesion is fractured,

Or, perhaps most critically, your team isn’t able to anticipate with accuracy and timeliness,

It will be costly.

Not only to your bottom line,

But very likely your top line revenue, depending on the focus of the project.

Longer term it will cost you the trust of your customers.

And your brand.

Customer retention and acquisition will become more difficult.

And susceptibility to your competition will grow.

Do even a rough calculation on the financial cost of any one of these, and you’ll see the stark consequences of not Building a Self-Correcting Team.

Of course, the opposite is also true.

Teams that are accountable, able to anticipate and pivot with accuracy, are trusting and cohesive?

They deliver returns far beyond their initial projects.

Many describe them as exponential.
