It’s said that outdoor trail running requires making constant, small adjustments that treadmill running does not.

The uneven, and sometime unpredictable, terrain simply asks it.

As a result, tiny muscles that otherwise wouldn’t, become conditioned.

And the whole of one’s running is better for it.

We’ve all been running over very uneven and unpredictable ground the last year.  I’m wondering about the small tweaks, the micro adjustments – rather than the large pivots – that we’ve made that have contributed to being and living better, overall.

And that have made us stronger.
