Mentors guide.

Peers commiserate or compete.

Advocates pound the table.

Three qualities to look for when you’re in need of someone to sing your praises to other leaders in your organization:

Trust.  Someone whom you trust, first and foremost, to have your best interest at heart, to keep your conversations confidential, to not be threatened by your success, to be of help even when they’re delivering hard-to-hear feedback.

And.  Someone who is trusted by those whom you’re trying to influence.

Visibility.  Someone who is visible to — and in close contact with – the leaders whom you want to know more about you.

Voice.  Someone whose opinion is valued and respected and isn’t afraid to go to bat for you.

A truism in business is that the higher you go in an organization, the more critical leadership and influence become.

Finding staunch advocates at different junctures of your journey is a requirement of success.

For seasoned leaders who are looking for confidential, strategic guidance that’s not too heavy on the calendar, this program is a favorite among clients.  And it comes with unlimited access to me.

If you need a team that anticipates, has the collective knowledge and experience to make decisions accurately, is trusting and cohesive, and accountable without you as the hub or task master, the work I’m invited to do with senior leadership teams is among the most impactful.  It’s called Building a Self-Correcting Team® and my next openings are in October.  For more, contact me directly here.  On site recommended.
