I was watching Nicole Kidman accept the AFI’s Life Achievement Award when she made me pause.
Quoting Andy Warhol, she said, “Make art. Let others decide whether it’s good or bad, and while they’re deciding, just make some more.”
Whatever meaningful things we dedicate ourselves to in life — professionally and personally — that seems like profoundly good guidance.
