‘Should You Weigh In?’ was one of the hot topics of discussion at last year’s Magnificent Leadership® Annual Event when attendees brought their critical questions to the room. Many had experienced a growing expectation that leaders express opinions on global events and US politics and policies.
This question stuck with me.
As did its corollary about how to foster a culture of civility in the workplace.
And if a recent Wall Street Journal article is any indicator, leaders continue to grapple with both.
So I am very pleased to announce that Brad Wilson, CEO Emeritus of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and one of the most thoughtful leaders I know and a student of history, will be joining us for a fireside chat at this year’s Annual Event to explore these very issues.
In addition, our panel discussion, “Lions, Tigers, and Bears: Requirements for Bold Leadership During an Election Year, Global Unrest, and Economic Uncertainty” will feature Ted Zoller, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, Nishita Henry, Chief Commercial Officer at Deloitte, and Rene Garza, Senior Vice President of Planetary Health Biosolutions at Novonesis who will be sharing their thinking on the many complex angles of maximizing business growth and opportunity in 2025 and beyond.
Two seats remain before we start a waitlist.
